Itinerary description
Excellent tour! Starts from Flegere, normal crossing point, then ski all the way down the Combe de la Balme. Skin back up the west-facing gully below the Col de Berard, and turn left to skin up to the west ridge down from the Aig. de Berard. Then traverse along the north side of the ridge, bootpack up through a narrow breche in the rock wall. Ski down a long fun slope and then join the track out to Le Buet.
Great choice for avoiding the crowds and getting more descent metres.
