Day 6: It continues snowing (it is that never stops!). We start the ascent by a small road, the landscape is spectacular because of the fallen snow. The sky and the sea begin to look, so we hope that the weather today is better. When we arrive at the lake, we can see the summit briefly. A fog begins not to be very thick but there is so much snow that without the compass of the guide it is impossible to know where we are going. We start to climb and see 3 fantastic white partridges, although it is snowing again. Due to the danger of avalanches we go at a distance of about 20 meters, enough not to see the one in front or the one behind, we must be careful not to deviate from the traces that are soon covered by the wind. This time we decided with the guide to try to make the top, we stopped before the area most exposed to the wind to eat, for which it is necessary to make half a igloo to protect us. Having taken strength we need to move to get warm, little by little we reach the top. Right at the beginning of the descent we have a scare of death, the guide at the beginning of the descent with his compass, before our eyes disappears and we believe for a brief moment that he has fallen down, we see him come out full of snow, he had fallen for a cornice of more than 2 meters that had made the wind and snow without further consequences. We see practically nothing and the danger of avalanches is very high so with great caution the guide used for the first time the GPS to return exactly the same place where we had climbed.
Near the lake the visibility is much better and we can enjoy the barbarity of snow that sometimes covers us above the waist. Finished the route we went to the city of Tromso.
