Itinerary description
Beautiful ski mountaineering excursion, leading to the Forca Rossa on the north side of Mount Pelmo among passes and deep valleys of incomparable beauty. Technical and deeply rewarding ski mountaineering itinerary, offering various options of off-piste skiing descents.
The itinerary starts from the parking lot at the Staulanza Pass climb up the entire first moraine slope, then we veer to the left, skirting the majestic north faces of Monte Pelmo. The trail keeps continues towards the steep and technical couloir leading up to the Pass of Forca Rossa, from where the panorama is breathtaking on the Dolomites
The freeride descent following the same direction on the way up. There are also diverse and exciting routes along narrow gullies and steep slopes.
