Hogruta i Jotunheimen ( Alta Ruta Noruega)

High Norway Route with skis, designed for 5 days and with different variants, you spend the night in shelters, which are more hotels, very warm and cozy but with high price like everything in Norway.
The design of the stages in general are long and with enough effort because it is a land where it has to focus a lot since it crosses lakes, glaciers that generally have very little slope and quite a distance.
The good thing about this route is that in case of bad weather there is an alternative that goes through the valleys and is marked with a trace of snowmobile and branches every few hours in case of poor visibility there are no problems, this came in handy in a stage that we arrived at night.
Also indicate that the original layout is very demanding there are stretches with a lot of slope that in our case were without snow or scarce snow and to face with a heavy backpack as it is carried on this route is not advisable, they advise to bring safety material, rope. ... we desist for not carrying weight.
The route does not have difficult stretches, but bad weather or fog can make orientation difficult, as it passes through glaciers.
The route is not circular, in our case the last stage was shortened because the last refuge was closed and we ended up in a parking lot that a taxi picked us up.
Indicate that in the shelters we did not make any reservation, arrive and register according to the Norwegian tradition, but I think they communicate with each other, in each shelter you take food and tea for the stage, so you do not have to carry practically almost anything.
The name of the peaks and glaciers difficult to remember, the Norwegian is complex ...
