Itinerary description
A tour from La Bérade (we stayed at Chalet Alpin de la Bérarde, chaletlaberarde.ffcam.fr/) up to the lovely little Refuge du Promontoire www.refugedupromontoire.com/. We intended to cross the Brèche de la Meije but were put off by fresh snow and poor visibility, so returned the way we'd come.
No real difficulties up to below the breche, spectacular scenery and a fun ski back down.
