Itinerary description

From the small Maliovitsa station, we begin to gently ascend through a coniferous forest to the homonymous refuge. After this, a succession of steps through which we will gain height until we reach a col from which a ridge begins, which allows us to reach its top very smoothly even with skis on. The capricious clouds do not allow us to enjoy the views in all their splendor, but they allow us at some point to see the Rila monastery that we will visit in a few hours (in mild years in terms of snow, you can go down to it by the face south of the mountain).
The clouds have covered the sky, but it will not prevent us from enjoying the descent, first to the refuge and then a fun slalom through the forest to the car.
