Itinerary description
Epic skitouring adventure in Andorra with this challenging route to the summit of the highest mountain in the country!
Starting at the parking lot, the first few meters offer a mix of snow and rocks to navigate. As you reach 1800m, the snow conditions improve and continue until you reach the Pla de l'Estany Hut. From there, take on the strenuous ascent to Comapedrosa via the Collada dels Malhiverns, navigating windy and icy snow conditions.
After reaching the col de Malhiverns, it was to carry our skis to the summit for breathtaking views. The descent starts at the summit and continous until the Comapedrosa Hut.
To go back to the car, we had to follow the summer trails as closely as possible. Once you enter the forest, you'll need to carry your skis until you reach the parking lot.
The sun will shine and the wind will be intense in the higher areas, but this is a journey worth taking for the thrill of skitouring in Andorra. Get ready for an extraordinary day on the mountains!
