Itinerary description
Si percorre tutta la piana del Devero, direzione Nord, passati dal Rif. Castiglioni proseguire per arrivare a risalire il canale del torrente della Rossa. Si arriva alla piana della Rossa e si piega decisamente a sinistra nella direzione della valle, Ovest.
Si riprende a salire per un ampio canale formato dalla morena. piegando in direzione S, si perviene all'ampio e spettacolare conca del ghiacciaio della Rossa racchiusa tra la Punta Marani il Cervandone e lo staccato ben individuato Pizzo Bandiera, 2817 m. Arrivare al colletto tra il Cervandone e il Pizzo, a seconda delle condizioni, salire a piedi o con gli sci la cresta Ovest

Io l’ho fatta con ramponi e ciaspole ed ho trovato molto vento. Ambiente meraviglioso. Comunque molto impegnativa e mai banale.
