It is a nice alternative to the Kavringtinden, which is located in the same massif and has similar height, but with different orientation, which sometimes has its advantages.
The climb has no loss and you will soon arrive at the beautiful Sjolli-Hytta refuge, perfectly equipped to warm up or spend the night if necessary. Enchanting place.
From there the rise is continuous, without big slopes, until we reach the final part, where we have two important shovels. Our idea was to go up the left shovel and go down on the right, but there was a lot of snow accumulated and we decided to leave it in the absence of 150 meters due to the danger of avalanches. The auction is for another occasion.
The descent had everything. Bad moments with snow crusted at the beginning, to progressively improve as we went down. In this case, we believe that the orientation of the descent to the west harmed us, melting more snow and then lower the temperate with wind, appears the dreaded snow crust.
In general recommended, especially when the snow is more settled and we can enjoy "snow dad" throughout the tour.
