Exit: Sussanajorda (Ersfjordbotn)
In the morning, with morale on the ground, we return to the airport to recover the skis and two luggage that did not arrive the night before. Luckily they arrive and at noon we can make the first skiing of the stay.
The day is variable, with snowstorms and snowstorms. In general, the sky is covered but with good visibility. The objective is a summit very close to the city of Tromso, Buren.
We take the cars and go to the village of Ersfjordbotn, in the neighborhood of Susannajorda. We park where we can due to the amount of snow on the banks of the roads and start the route, it is two quarters of two noon.
The Buren is a moderate easy summit depending on the conditions in which it can be found. We start from the sea by climbing through a bush of young birch trees. We leave the forest about three hundred meters above sea level and we stand in front of a short and right back but very snowy. We go one by one to prevent anything from happening. Above, the terrain loses inclination and through an achievement of landings we stand on the broad summit edge.
We continue along the ridge to the summit with a good cornice under our skis but without any complications.
Good views over the fjords with some sunbeams that allow us to enjoy the spectacular orography.
The descent is done by the same itinerary paying special attention to the section of the loom mentioned above.
Two of the companions try to lower the coma by the side and break a 25 cm wind plate by lowering a small-medium size avalanche without any consequence.
The temptation and desire to ski on the edge of the shadows makes us sometimes lower our guard. In this regard, it will be a warning to us in the coming days.
We finish the descent through the forest with very good snow, we cross the road and with the same skis we reach the same sea line.
If in the morning, defeated by the lack of material, they tell us how the day will end, we would not have believed it.
