Explanations in english, catalan and spanish.

ENGLISH

First of all, explain that the difficulty of the route is because the descent is directly by the main slope (S4).
If you choose to follow the same itinerary that the ascent, the difficult became "moderate."

The second day of our holidays we decide to go to the Lyngen Alps area. The idea is the ascension of the Storgalten, a peak that enjoys some excellent views over the sea and the Lyngen Alps.
We go to the town of Lyngseidet on the E8 road and later on the local highway 868 to avoid using the Ferri. We continue along the 91 road and later through the FV312 to Storvoll and cross the bridge to the Sandneset Fish Factory. The trip with the van is long and it takes about three hours.
We put on skins at 11:00 pm and the weather forecast is perfect.
We cross the streets and the road to climb soft slopes in the middle of the houses. The landscapes are very beautiful and the panorama is fantastic. The progression is slow because we spend a lot of time taking photos and videos. We enter the Galtdalen Galtltvaggi ravine.
We leave the forest and we continue by wide and soft slopes. Approximately 750 meters above sea level, we arrive at a windy zone near the visible mountain pass. We overcome a short slope with icy snow until the long and wide ridge to the summit. The last meters to the summit are in irregular terrain molded by the wind.
Spectacular views over the sea to the north and the Lyngen Alps to the south and west. The Lyngen is much more wild than the Tromso zone.
We try to descend the summit directly to the main slope (S4) after we observe that it's a safe. We do it one by one to avoid avalanches. First meters with strong inclination and snow powder, really fun.
We put skins another time and we head to promontory called Lassofjellet (414m) The surrounding is really superb and at four PM the sunlight offers some magnificent landscapes over the sea.
We finish the descent through the forest and finally we return to the town very happy in a great day. This will be, undoubtedly, the best route we will have done.
When we return by car, we use the ferry to cross from the town of Sbensby to Breivikeidet and make short the trip (price: 15 euros per car).

CATALAN
Storgalten 1219m, Lyngen North Alps

Departure: Sandneset Fish Factory (Storvoll)

First of all, mentioning that the rating of the route as "budget" is due exclusively to whether the descent is made by the shovel (sustained slope S4). If we choose to follow the same itinerary that the ascent, the difficulty goes down to "moderate".

The second day, it is presented with a variable time until noon. We decided to go to the Lyngen Alps area. The idea is the ascension of the Storgalten, a peak that enjoys some excellent views over the sea and the Lyngen Alps.
We went to the town of Lyngseidet on the E8 road and later on the local highway 868 avoiding having to use the Ferri. We continue along the 91 highway and later by the FV312 to Storvoll and crossing the bridge to the Sandneset Fish Factory. The carriage is long and it takes about three hours to spend.
We calcise the skis at 11:00 p.m. and as the meteorological forecast mentions, clarifications are beginning to open.
We go back to the same streets and cross the road to climb the path in soft birch forest margins in the middle of the houses. As we gain height, it increases in proportion the beauty of the landscape. At each pass, you find the time to take a picture and as a consequence the progress is slow. The road narrows to enter the torrent of Galtdalen Galtltvaggi.
We leave the forest and we continue by wide shovels doing some shy vault maria. We follow an open plan for groups that we have before us. Approximately 750 meters, we arrive at a ventilated section near a neck. We overcome a short sloping shovel with little snow until the long and wide hoof that leads to the summit. The last meters until the summit we make them in long loops over irregular terrain and molded by the wind.
Spectacular views over open sea to the north and the Lyngen Alps to the south and west. Unlike the Tromso area, the Lyngen Alps show a much more wild and abrupt orography.
The baixada fem pel mateix itinerari però quan veiem that l'accés to the blade is segur in hi llancem. Primers meters amb fort inclinació (S4) and bona neu pols. To measure that the pendent is suau, ens direim to a promontori anomenat Lassofjellet (414m) amb a fita amb molt bones you see on the fisherman's village.
Per arribar-hi, turn to pose pells face that continued to ascend a scarce cinquanta meters of desnivell.
Gairebé are the quatre de la tarda and the llum del sol ofereix uns colors i uns paisatges de somni.
Finish the decline pel bos i i finally return to the village with a somriure d'orella a orella. That will be sens dubte, the great day that haurem fet to Norway.
Quan return in cotxe, aquest cop if you use the ferry to go from the village of Sbensby fins to Breivikeidet and run the tornado to the house (preu: 15 euros per cotxe).

Departure: Sandneset fish factory (Storvoll)

In the first place, mention that the classification of the route as "difficult" is due exclusively to whether the descent is made by the main shovel (sustained slope S4). If we choose to follow the same itinerary as the climb, the difficulty goes down to "moderate".

The second day, is presented with a variable time until noon. We decided to go to the Lyngen Alps area. The idea is the ascent of the Storgalten, which enjoys a very good view over the sea and the Lyngen Alps.
We go to the village of Lyngseidet by the E8 road and later by the local road 868 avoiding having to use the ferry. We continue on highway 91 and then on the FV312 to Storvoll and across the bridge to the Sandneset Fish Factory. The journey by car is long and involves investing approximately three hours.
We put on our skis at half past one in the morning and, as the weather forecast mentioned, they begin to open up clear.
We go up the same snowy streets and cross the road to make our way on soft margins of birch forest in the middle of the houses. As we gain height, the beauty of the landscape increases proportionally. At each step, you find the moment to take a picture and consequently the march becomes slow. The road narrows to enter the gully of Galtdalen Gálttavággi.
We leave the forest and continue with broad shovels doing some timid return maría. We follow a route opened by groups that we have in front of us. Approximately 750 meters, we arrive at a stretch venteado near a hill. We overcome a short inclined shovel with little snow to the long and wide back of the summit that leads to the top. The last meters to the top we make them in long loops over irregular terrain and modeled by the wind.
Spectacular views over the open sea in the north and the Lyngen Alps to the south and west. Unlike the Tromso area, the Lyngen Alps show a much wilder and steeper orography.
The descent is done through the same itinerary but when we see that the access to the shovel is safe, we jump through the main shovel. First meters with strong inclination (S4) and powder snow. As the slope becomes smooth, we head to a promontory called Lassofjellet (414m) with a landmark and with very good views over the fishing village.
To get there, we put back the skins even to ascend a few fifty meters of altitude.
It's almost four in the afternoon and the sunlight offers colors and dreamy landscapes.
We finish the descent through the forest and finally we return to the village with a smile from ear to ear. This will undoubtedly be the best day we will have done.
When we return by car, this time we use the ferry to cross from the village of Sbensby to Breivikeidet and shorten the return to the house (price: 15 euros per car).
