What made this route difficult? Descenting from Col de Chardonnet to Swiss side or skiing down to Le Tour village?

Hmmm, it's a long time since I did this.... I think I rated it difficult for two things: one is the distance, you need to keep moving. The other is you do need some mountain skills to descend from the col de C. (mostly you need to stop guides pushing you out of their way) and the bootpack up to the Fenetre du Tour was fairly steep. Also you need to get the navigation down to Le Tour right, I seem to remember there is a big drop-off and you could ski down into real trouble if you don't get the right line. So no one section is 'difficult' but you need a toolbox of confident mountain skills to pull off the whole thing.

Thank you for your quik answer Cathy. I'm planning to do this tour next year, and all the information I can get is very useful. Have a nice day Cathy!
