This accommodation settles in a nice bushy environment by the beach. It is 5 km detached from the busier and noisier Ponta do Ouro, especially plenty of partying South Africans in high season. I recommend not going in summer if a quiet retreat surrounded by nature is what you are looking for. Most activities depend on the number of people interested in taking part at that particular moment. For example, the Ocean Safari requires a minimum number of six to eight participants for these guys to put the boat on the water. Moreover, whereas in high season the equipment hiring shop is open the whole day, in low season depends on the random time schedule of the person in charge and you can find it closed. In low season, can be frustrating to spend three or four days there and end up doing very little just because their numbers are low, and walking from Ponta Malongane to Ponta do Ouro is the most exciting thing to do. Before booking, double check first and confirm that if you book they would be committed to do what you are interested in. I guess if you go self-catered and self-equipped, low season is definitely a good option, otherwise try to go sometime in between.
