Itinerary description
Our day to say goodbye to the Cantabric Sea. The journey takes you to a beach where you can touch the water and see the magnificence of the ocean waves ending its movement against the rocks of the fantastic land of Galicia.
The path will lead you towards the bridge over the river at Ribadeo, 60 meters over the water.
The hill after Mondoñedo is a steep one, going from 50 to almost 600 m high in one almost never ending shot.
We were supposed to reach Vilalba, but 12 km before, the heavy rain and wind in a 13 degrees atmosphere, stopped us at a service station where we had hot coffee and a hot shot of Cognac, for the body to warm up a little. We waited in vain for the rain to stop, but at the end we call a taxi and pass the night at the Hostal O Cristo, 5 km before Vilalba.
The route N-634 was again our companion and lead us to our way to Santiago.
We are planning to get in 13 stages to Santiago instead of 14, because we are using that kind of route almost all the time.
Great time we have had today! Thanks God and his team for leading us in this wonderful trip we had the opportunity to enjoy.
