Itinerary description
Gljúfrasteinn was the home of our Nobel Price winner in Literature 1955, Halldór Laxnes. The house was converted into a museum, where the author´s mome is preserved just as it was when he lived and worked there. We biked on trail by highway 1 on the way there and by the ocean on the way back.
