Itinerary description

I live in Girona, and I used to work for 5 years in Figueres. I used to get there either by car or by train. Many times, specially on summer months, I saw touring cyclists on the main road (N-II) on the way from Girona to Figueres. Crazy people!

This is a route that follows small roads and gravel paths, all the way from Figueres to Girona and back. It is a nice alternative to the main road.

Ruta de Girona a Figueres pel camí de Sant Jaume (tot pistes en bon estat i carreteres secundàries, excepte sortida de Girona amb molt trànsit i un petit tram de pista en mal estat). Retorn a Girona per carreteres secundàries (un tros de pista en bon estat, i l'entrada a Girona, de nou amb molt trànsit).
La ruta es pot dividir en dues etapes, dormint a Figueres o Girona, depenent desde on la comencem.
