Itinerary description

Day 11 Blois to Beaugency 46.5 km
We were up and on the trail early, headed out along Le Cosson river to Château de Chambord (N47.61622° E1.51702°). If you see no other chateau see this one! Expanded over the years it is the archetypical French chateau. Home to Kings and criminals the story of the chateau is a French history lesson. Lunch at one of the small tourist restaurants near the chateau then on to Beugency. We checked into Relais des Templiers Hotel (N47.77943° E1.63151°), again great secure bike storage, a wonderful little hotel in the heart of old town.
