Itinerary description
Dubai Marina Loop Leisure cycling
Nice place for cycling at Dubai Marina, the whole Promenade can be cycled as a loop by connecting the loose ends by walking a it, carrying the bicycle, cycling over the bridges and connecting to the other side.
There are Ramps to make the transfer easy.
Or else you could cycle only on one segment of the Marina, traverse many times as you like.
The maximum speed allowed is 12 KM/H as mentioned.
And apparently, Walkers have the Right towards the water side and the Cyclists have the other side, so that it is safe.
But as we know, rules are not followed and all get mixed in lanes.
So best is to stay slow and attentive, hands on the brakes for last moment braking.
In the evenings, the Promenade tends to be busy as there are lots of restaurants all along the Promenade.
If you dont have bicycle, no problem.
There are Careem bicycle stations all along the Promenade and Marina itself.
Please study their locations and rules before taking the bicycles. I think you should dock the bicycle at least once within every 45 minutes to save on additional charges. Otherwise there seems to be a fixed price. I am not sure of fine details.
I think best time to cycle without lots of people around is in the mornings.
