- Kiev-Pechersk Lavra with underground caves and saint springs; Since its foundation as the cave monastery in 1051 the Lavra has been a preeminent center of the Eastern Orthodox Christianity in Eastern Europe. It is inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage
- Museum of The History of Ukraine in World War II is one of the largest museums in Ukraine (over 300 thousand exhibits) centered on the now famous 62-meter tall Motherland statue, which has become one of the best recognized landmarks of Kiev.
- Paton Bridge is one of the bridges across the Dnieper in Kiev, Ukraine named after its constructor Evgeny Paton. Built between 1941 and 1953, is the world’s first all-welded bridge[citation needed] and is also the longest bridge in Kiev having a length of 1,543 meters (5,062 ft)

Paton Bridge is one of the bridges across the Dnieper in Kiev, Ukraine named after its constructor Evgeny Paton. Built between 1941 and 1953, is the world's first all-welded bridge[citation needed] and is also the longest bridge in Kiev having a length of 1,543 metres (5,062 ft). Traffic across the bridge was opened on 5 November 1953. The bridge also acts as a segment of the Small Ring Road of Kiev.
