Itinerary description
This greenway goes along the old railway project that was supposed to connect Talavera de La Reina to Villanueva de la Serena. Later on the project was modified and started in Calera y Chozas.
This first section to Santa Quiteria station was finish just the railway canal (everything except the rails). With the exception of a short branch of rails installed in the old station of Aldeanueva de Barbarroya, in order to install a couple of old train cars.
