WCRVBB-T02-CANAL GARONNE ET MIDI 611 km: STAGE 02-La Reole-PorteSteMarie
Segunda etapa de La Reole a Port-Sainte-Marie. A lo largo del Canal Lateral de la Garone, con el camino pavimentado para bicicletas. Muy plana. La vegetación es muy verde y los árboles de altura y la quietud en las esclusas del canal es espectacular. Se puede encontrar la paz mirando los barcos que iba hacia arriba o hacia abajo con un ascensor. Meilhan-sur-Garonne es un lugar muy interesante para contemplar el rio Garone desde su terraza. Le Mas d'Angenais es también un lugar para visitar. La ruta se va desviando del canal a algunos pueblos más hermosos que se pueden visitar o no. Finalmente, se llega a Port Sainte Marie.
STAGE DESCRIPTION
Second stage from La Reole to Port Sainte Marie. All through the Lateral Canal of the Garone, with paved bike path. Very flat. The vegetation is very green and hight trees and the quiteness in the canal locks is spectacular. You can find the peace watching a ship going up or down with an elevator. Meilhan sur Garonne is a very interesting place to spot the Garone from his terrace. Le Mas d'Angenais is also a good place to visit. The route go away from the canal to some more beautiful villages, that you can visit or no. Finally, you arrive to Porte Sainte Marie.

Porte Sainte Marie has a very beautiful historic center with many houses with wood.
