We started the day early with a beautiful sunrise walk through the reserve.
Once we leave, the climb begins with plenty of sun and increasingly steeper.
It is an intense day of climbing 1000 m positive but above all the sun is harsh in the first part. As we gain altitude we return to cedar or more subtropical forests with plenty of shade and regular but acceptable tracks. The descent after 20km is very fun.
Along the way, since it was Sunday, we were able to participate in community masses.
The Mali Saba camp is brutal, semi-European prices but the friendliness, infrastructure, views... They are brutal, including the pool. I camped because they gave the option but it is worth paying if you want to give yourself a gift.
