Itinerary description
Finally, on a perfect day, got to abseil, in one day, the five fabulous falls down beautiful Back Creek Gorge. Did it by myself so the photos are "nicked" from my previous visits, but they looked just as good. Hard yakka coming back as I lost my way a few times as many of my tapes had gone missing. A great day but knackered now.
I was last out and I saw Pat Fitzgerald who was doing his usual "check up". We had a long discussion about his article in The Gold Coast Hinterlander "The Hidden Jewels of the Hinterland". He sounded very encouraging about the future of Back Creek Gorge.
