Itinerary description
The following description is merely informative and although it tries to be as precise as possible, it is not an exact guide to the route; rain, landslides, etc. can cause the state of access, descent, exit, and escapes to vary. Each one carries out this type of activity under his responsibility.
Do not forget to bring re-equipping material, water, some food, sunscreen and always tell someone where you are going and the final arrival time, so if that time arrives we do not show signs of life, that this is the alarm signal and although it should not be necessary, remember that the garbage we generate we take with us.
Although we are accompanied, it does not hurt to have a small station on and set to #canal77PMR (Channel 7, Subtone 7), it can help us link up with other stations in case we need to ask for help and we do not have mobile coverage.
One advantage of this ravine is that the route between the vehicle at the end and the head is short and since it is very confined we will always be in the shade.
To access the head we will only have to cross the road from the point marked as a parking lot and we will see the meeting of the first rappel a meter and a half from the edge of the asphalt.
The rappels and climbs are the following:
Handrail + R1: 3m. + 14m.
R2: 10m.
Scramble 3m.
R3: 15m.
R4: 5m.
R5: 6m.
R6: 48m. (Instalments R6a 8m + R6b 40m)
To get down to the car at the end of the ravine we will only have to follow the path used by climbers to access the climbing sectors,
There are only two points where there can be confusion and they are marked with a waypoint, at the first we will pass through the upper area of a large rock and at the second point we will turn off along the path to the right.
Upon reaching the Silva bridge, we will leave the riverbed along a dirt road that climbs to the right and ends at the siding where we left the vehicle at the end of the ravine parked.
