Itinerary description
Note: This activity can be done in 6-8 hours. It took us longer due to the stops.
The hike up to Sherri Village is quite
enjoyable and easy, reaching 1050m of elevation, from the top of the village, we carried on towards the top of the canyon where you will need scramble down towards the canyon. You will reach to 6 meters drop which is doable without ropes from the right side. After that carry on to to the right where u will find the ledges to take ur way down to the start of the canyon (the scramble here is a bit tricky) try to find the best route that suits ur cabapablities.
The abseils (4)
6m: easy and there are fixed hanger with quick links.
45m: to be able to access the second abseil point, you will need to go from the left side of the pool through the tiny ledges. It's doable. Moderate abseil with a lovely overhang.
(Note: reaching the 3rd abseil station requires some good level of bouldering. You may reach to what it looks like a drop but u can scramble it from the right side and it's a bit tricky.
43m: easy access to the hangers. All fixed and in good conditions. The drop is quite enjoyable with minimum foot work.
60m (the final one to finish on) just right after the 3rd drop, easy to access the hangers. The drop is quite enjoyable and easy.
Exiting the canyon back to the start point:
It will take you about 40 to 50 mins to exit the canyon back to the start point. Requires a good level of bouldering and scrambling. There is no marked or clear way, but all is doable.
