The views throughout the journey are beautiful. The water landscape is alternated by the mountain one but it is difficult to decide which one is more impressive.
We will find the entire route dotted with houses with typical Norwegian architecture, wooden houses with a birch bark roof and grass. With this type of construction they managed to have houses resistant to water to humidity and cold.
The most important point of the route is the passage through Trollstigen, the road of the trolls.
There are two parking lots that allow you to walk closer to the platforms with viewpoints located at different heights to enjoy magnificent views of the valley and the 11 vertiginous and steep curves in which the driver demonstrates his expertise.
This infrastructure completed in 1936 is still in perfect condition and is a truly amazing place.
