Arc de Triomf

The Arc de Triomf is an arch in the manner of a memorial or triumphal arch in Barcelona. It was built as the main access gate for the 1888 Barcelona World Fair by architect Josep Vilaseca i Casanovas.

La Pedrera

Casa Milà, also known as La Pedrera, is a modernist building in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It was the last civil work designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí and it was built between the years 1906 and 1910.

Casa Battlo

Casa Batlló is a renowned building located in the center of Barcelona and is one of Antoni Gaudí’s masterpieces. A remodel of a previously built house, it was redesigned in 1904 by Gaudí and has been refurbished several times after that.

Plaça de Catalunya is a large square in central Barcelona that is generally considered to be both its city centre and the place where the old city and the 19th century-built Eixample meet.

La Boqueria

Palau Guell

The Palau Güell is a mansion designed by the architect Antoni Gaudí for the industrial tycoon Eusebi Güell, and built between 1886 and 1888.

Maratime Museum

The Barcelona Royal Shipyard is a shipyard and former military building of Gothic architecture found at the end of Las Ramblas. Nowadays it houses the Barcelona Maritime Museum. Construction started during the 13th century under the rule of Peter III of Aragon.

Sant Pau de Camp

Sant Pau del Camp is a church and former monastery. While the monastery now stands within the El Raval district in central Barcelona, it once stood outside the city and its former rural location gave the church its name.

Greek Amphitheatre

Teatre Grec is a theatre in the Montjuïc Mountain in Barcelona. It was built in 1929 by the Catalan architect Ramon Reventós as a homage to the ancient Greece theatres as part of the 1929 Barcelona International Exposition.

Magic Fountain

The Magic Fountain is the main feature of the collection of waterfalls and ponds on Avinguda Maria Cristina, which stretches from the Palau Nacional to Plaça Espanya in Montjuïc. This is a spectacular fountain which is very popular because of its water arrangements, sound and lighting. 2,600 litres of water are pumped through this great fountain per second in three concentric pools which have a water recirculation system.

CaixaForum Barcelona is an art gallery in Barcelona. It is sponsored by Barcelona bank "la Caixa", and opened in 2002 in a former brick factory.

Poble Espanyol

Poble Espanyol is an architectural museum placed in one of the most emblematic areas of Barcelona, just a few meters away from the Fountains of Montjuïc. It is one of the biggest attractions of the city because of a single set featuring about contemporary art, architecture, crafts and gastronomy in a quiet, safe and peaceful environment. The museum consists of 117 full-scale buildings, which make a real Iberian village with streets, houses, parks, theater, school, restaurants and artisan workshops.

National Art Gallery

The Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya, abbreviated as MNAC, is the national museum of Catalan visual art. There are great views out over the city from here.

Olympic Staduim

Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys is a stadium in Barcelona. Originally built in 1927 for the 1929 International Exposition in the city, it was renovated in 1989 to be the main stadium for the 1992 Summer Olympics

Olympic Museum

Barcelona has become the first major European city with its own Olympics museum, the Museu Olímpic i de l'Esport. The museum is located on Montjuïc hill, and offers a unique experience of the Olympic movement and sport. the city's passion to sports reached its pinnacle with 1992 Barcelona's Olympics.
