Itinerary description
The Misarela Bridge (also known as Devil's Bridge) was built in the nineteenth century. Legend says that a priest chased away the devil who was constantly destroying the bridge with the miracle of the bread. It is also linked to the belief that a woman who performs a ritual, can successfully carry a pregnancy to childbirth. Women who perform the ritual with two other people will succeed Having the son to be baptized with the name "Gervás" and if the mother has a daughter, she will be called "Senhorinha"
