Itinerary description
Why worthwhile? Beautiful and quiet mountain road, great view of the city of Murcia. Also (sporty) biking route (keep the height difference in mind).
Starting point: Algezares [Murcia – Murcia]
Distance: 13,5 km.
Details: Partially narrow mountain road. Difference in height 400m.
Route description:
From Algezares, follow signs towards Santuario de la Fuensanta. Drive on here up the mountain (Calle Cresta del Gallo). There are several possibilities to reach the panorama point at the foot of Cresta del Gallo (follow road signs and use a road map). The route back follows the northeastern descent to Los Garres. The via the MU-302 back to Algezares.
