Itinerary description

Epirus is an administrative region in North-Western Greece, very well known for it's natural and cultural beauty. Full of mountains, lakes, rivers, canyons, Byzantine and Ottoman heritage sites, picturesque villages with unique arcitecture and several old stone bridges, it can satisfy even the most demanding traveller. The wine scene comes to complete all these, combining high altitude vineyards, indigenous grape varieties and mouth watering dishes.
Therefore this trail would be perfect for anyone interested in wine, nature and culture. Destinations are easy to reach by car while the region offers several hiking or mountain biking trails with outstanding views.
