Along the Highway 55 route in Southern Wake Co, there are 5 notable tea and coffee shops right off that main thoroughfare. Stop in at each and try one of their unique drink or snack offerings.

Waypoints

Stick Boy Bread Co.

Owned by husband and wife team, they’ve been making fresh bread, cookies, and delectable pastries for over a decade. Stop in for a coffee and read or relax. No outdoor seating and closed on Sunday.

Cultivate Coffee shop

With lots of room to sit and work or read, Cultivate has been drawing visitors in droves since opening recently right off of downtown FV. They roast their beans in house and you can taste the difference. Free Wi-Fi!

Thanks A Latte

Part coffee shop part gift store, they also sell smoothies and tea. Delicious and a frequently rotating series of specials.

Sir Walter Coffee and Kitchen

Indoor and outdoor seating with a full menu, this is a great place to spend a few hours. Try one of their cocktail coffees!

Pimiento Tea Room

An old house converted into tea room with small plates by a local husband and wife team. It opened during Covid and has been doing well ever since. Brunch on Sunday rotates weekly. Outdoor patio has heated seating.
