Itinerary description
Since then people wear life jackets before entering in the water. Waterfall drops couple of meters into a pool. In the dry months of May and June water is gradual and pool is only deep on the sides but as monsoon starts, water level rises significantly and whole pool and even the rest of cave becomes deep. An estimate gives a 15-20 feet depth of water in the main pool where waterfall drops.
So always wear life jacket.
And once you tighten your life jacket, there is no fear. You can float, swim and even jump.
Many first comers went into the water and had time of their lives even in the deepest parts of the pool.
Water is so beautiful that you can't resist stepping or diving into it.
There are small fish in the water outside the caves.
Noori waterfall is a breath taking waterfall only 50 km from Islamabad.
Driver however takes 3 hours due to curvy roads and the last patch where we have to drive on a very narrow road.
By the end of it there are two parking spots which charge Rs 200 for cars.
They also rent out the life jackets at Rs 100.
After which there is a 15-20 minutes scenic hike by the side of the river. with beautiful views of vegetation and the hills.
On our way back there was a camel offering ride through the river.
People are really nice and hospitable.
Precautions.
1. Don't take cars with less road clearance as the final road stretch is sort of "off-road".
2. Reach early to leave early as after the 12 pm, place gets packed.
3. Not suitable for family as there are no washrooms available at the waterfall.
Waypoints
Future Toll Plaza
There should be a toll plaza here ... don't you agree... I think there should be one at Pir Sohawa
Jabri Bridge - Haro River
Went there after three years. Glad to see the new wide bridge, which was higher, smoother and most importantly safe.
Bismillah hotel
They do not let you use washroom unless you buy something. On inquiry they informed that they have to buy tanker of water for Rs 2,500.
Go Straight for Noori Water Fall (Take U turn and go upwards for Umbrella and Sajjikot Waterfalls)
this is a junction point. As you find the route to Umbrella and Sajjikot waterfalls from there.
Take a U-Turn on the narrow road on the left
Just spot the boards and the a U-turn to the very narrow road on the left.
1st Car Parking and Life Jackets (Noori Aabshar car parking Tiyaal Syedaan)
Very nice people. You can bargain a bit Car Parking Rs. 200 per day Life Jacket Rs. 100 per day 0345-7949988
Start of Hike
you start a small hike from here. One the way to the waterfall it's hike down.
Last chance to get provisions and sandals
We met a very nice gentleman, perhaps father if the guy in the picture on our way back. he wanted to know about the future of the place as he intends to build a family friendly restaurant there.
Go right - the higher route
Practically both routes meet 5 minutes later but you will have to climb up again if you take the lower route. So better take the upper route.

Is the road ok for cars?
Yes
We went in cultus
There were also some corolla’s.
Only last 7 km is a narrow road. And its bit difficult when some other vehicle comes from the other way (you have to reverse to find a spot to accommodate other vehicle)
But it happens rarely.
Rest of the road is wide, carpeted and newly built
