Southern Norway: Day 6 (Førde- Briksdal-Geiranger-Førde).
On our 5th day in Norway, we will visit the south-west area in the vicinity of the town of Bergen-Førde. The surprising geology of the country, is eclipsed by the beauty of its landscapes in constant change. Both aspects are intimately related and I will try to show them. For millions of years, the Baltic Plate (where the Scandinavian countries are located) has been formed on the basis of ancient clashes between continents. At present, for just one million years, the erosion of the last glaciacines has exposed these materials, showing them great and almost unique.
