Itinerary description
After I woke in the back of my truck at the Spring Creek Campground in Wallowa-Whitman National Forest, I drove across most of the state of Oregon, with multiple stops along the way. The night before, I had slept in my truck near Geyser Park in Soda Springs, ID. Before heading south to return home, I wanted a night in a hotel, and a shower. The Rodeway Inn & Suites Portland - Jantzen Beach was cheap, close, and on the way to my final stop on the Oregon National Historic Trail: the End of the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center.
