Itinerary description
Palmiste Park is a 40 acre (16 hectare) park that is situated on the southern outskirts of the City of San Fernando. It provides an ideal setting for outdoor recreational activity. The upgraded features of the park includes a jogging pathway, picnic areas, gardens, nature trails, fields and parking facilities. This park was created to mimic the setting and physical characteristics of the Royal Botanical Gardens at Queen's Park Savannah in Port of Spain. There are very many ways to get to Palmiste Park. I choose to take the continue along the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway into Debe and then drive toward Duncan Village. This road passes directly around the park. This place is worth exploring and very much worth the drive. There's quite a lot to do and lots of very good opportunities for exceptional photography...

This is a very nice Sunday evening drive. I enjoyed this park very much. Very nice place to spend the entire day under a tree...
