Itinerary description
Very icy conditions, but little snow. Pic des Moines (northern part of track) not accessable with x-country skis in these conditions. Collada de Astun (most eastern part of track) neither, thus ascended with crampons. Not to be missed. Descend on mountain road back to Astun car park rather difficult with x-country skis in these icy conditions. That day ski lifts did not run: the mountains only for those that ascended on their own power. Great views.
