Itinerary description

Relating to maintained crosscountry skiing trails starting at Bílá, this one is the longest of them all.

Once again I would recommend using the ski lift at the beginning to spare yourself from climbing initial 200 odd vertical metres. From the ski lift terminus the trail ascends to Bobek, where it diverts to Konečná. After crossing the main road there the trail passes through woods, across mountain meadows, pastures and remote settlements all the way to once popular mountain resort of Bílý Kříž. Right after passing through another mountain resort of Gruň, there begins rather steep and quick descent to the valley of Bílá Ostravice.

Despite the fact that the trail is well maintained and preserved, some (short) parts of this trail are simply impassable with your skis on.

As for some basic dining (and possible accommodation) on the trail, you can stop by at Doroťanka, Bílý Kříž or Gruň.
