Itinerary description
Such a beautiful trail in all seasons. In winter time u cant get enough from the beautiful mixture of blue sky and white sparkling shiny snow.
My second time in snowy condition for this year, i had to repeat it as in our last week hike we were in a group of 6 in chilly conditions with temperatures below zeros and thick fog that didn’t allow us to reach the Channel 11 building and enjoy the amazing panoramas this trail offers.
We walked the first 1km until we reached a gd snow thickness and ventured between the lovely lakes of Kfar-Selwan and Falougha, a man made ponds built several years ago to help residents irrigate their agriculture to become a splendid touristic attraction.
Later, u have a terrific grueling
climb of 300m over a distance of 2km to reach the peak, where i had to take off my skis.
Have ur coffee break up at the Tele Liban - Channel 11 bombed building and ur way back is a super easy descend with beautiful surroundings.
