Itinerary description
Tiny and compact 2km cross country ski track with a few turns and ondulations. Sometimes on slightly tilted terrain.
It is an entertaining track. The variety of turns and sights compensates for the short length. There are good views to Glarner Alpen and a restaurant to warm up and eat.
It is groomed with a scooter and mid sized grooming tool. The day visited (13 Dec 2018) it was in very good shape.
Car can be left in the parking by the Gottschalkenberg Restaurant. Weekends you may have to leave car by Raten Pass.
From Zug you can take the bus to Raten pass.
From Zurich it´s about 45 minutes
It is groomed for skating skis, not classic.
It appears it may be lit at night but you should check that yourself.
