Itinerary description
The track goes over two 5 km sections (1 and 4) of the Loipe in Studen.
Parking is right by the start of the cross country tracks. Very wide and flat tracks. As the valley is surrounded by fairly large mountains it gets its fair amount of shade and tracks remain in place even thought it´s only 900 metres over sea level.
Conditions were warm-with wet slushy snow on the 27.2.2017.
There are a a further 17 km in sections 5 (Studen) and 2 and 3 (Unteriberg).
