Itinerary description
This is a very scenic/pretty track. Well worth the trip, and not far from Luzern.
The panorama Loipe is 12km only (I did a bit extra in loops in the plateau as I did not feel like doing down and up again).
On a year with very little snow, I noticed this track between 1350 to 1500 metres of altitude seemed to report good snow conditions.
To note that it you will have a big uphill. Then there is a 2.5 km plateau where you can enjoy a few flat laps and views to the surrounding mountains.
You can get there by car.
You can also take public transport to Sörenberg Südelhöchi (bus stop) or Sörenberg Skilift Rischli (presumably another bus stop). From there, based on the info from February 2020 a small private mini bus will take you up and down for 8 CHF one way.
I would say it is for intermediate and advanced skiers. Beginners can enjoy it too but they need to be mindful they will have a big up and a big down (big by cross country ski standards).
Moving time was 2h25 mins.
