Itinerary description
Done in 2h 1 min moving time, classic style (can be done much faster if you are fresh)
Really worth doing if you are in Engadin.
The track is narrow and it more or less follows contour lines a couple hundred metres above the valley so with good views. It is reasonably well protected from wind (compared to many of the valley - lake runs in Engadin).
Zuoz to Zernez is only 17-18 km. There is a little bit extra as I tried to go towards Lavin but the Loipe was intermitent at some points and you had to take of your skis and walk a few hundred metres. From Zuoz to Zernez it was all snow.
The route is hard to miss as it follows a yellow hiking-mouontain biking trail to Zernez.
In the middle section I only met another skier so it is much less travelled than many of the other routes.
