Itinerary description
This was a cycle on non battery town bikes from Alcoi to Ibi where we got a menu del dia in Restaurante Les Eres SL beside the Repsol garage on the edge of town. Highly recommend this restaurant by the way. After our meal we cycled back to Alcoi.
The cycle to the restaurant in Ibi was 11.5 miles.
The first approximately 9.5 miles are uphill (got the heart rate up). The ground is a mixture of tarmac to sandy/gravel dirt road to normal road for approximately 2 miles into Ibi. The last 2 miles are downhill into Ibi.
The cycle back was uphill for approximately 2 miles and the rest was more or less downhill, Ibi.
Overall a great cycle. There are no cafes between the two towns for a coffee stop, so bring your own.
The tunnels are very cool during a sunny day.
It took us 5 hours in total including the time for our meal.
