Itinerary description
A ride with everything. Flat out to L’Isle, with spectacular views on the road from Montricher to Berrole. Then the tough bit, the long steady never ending climb to Marchairuz, but the road surface on the first part is like a billiard table, which makes easier. Over the top and along the always spectacular Combe des Amburnex where on this day I had to push through several herds of cows, being careful due to the calves. Then the fast and technical descent to Bassins. Care is needed on the descent as groups of riders coming up tend to spread across the whole road! Finished up by going through LaVaud and Burtigny to get back to Begnins. Outstanding ride
