Itinerary description
This short easy ride from Castell d'Empordá to Fonclara is through fertile Costa Brava countryside with an opportunity to explore the picturesque medieval town of Ullastret with its stone walls and the Esglesia De Sant Pere.
From Ullastret the ride continues Through Palau-sator to Fontclara where a detour is made to the Sidreria Mooma. Set in their apple orchards, you can sample various ciders and vinegars made from apples in the adjacent orchards. There is also a restaurant and small shop where their products can be bought.
After sampling several ciders we backtracked to Fontclara to the Exus Natur for a delicious homemade meal made with rice from Pals and vegetables from their organic garden.
