Itinerary description
An ideal walk or gentle cycle. The Ullal is an aquatic ecosystem, between Gandia beach and the city, inhabited by various animals and birds including ducks, geese, turtles, and dragonfly. This natural peaceful space is close to the Alquería del Duc (CdT). There are various species of birds in their natural environment. Nearby is the Wonderwall music venue.
A ullal is a coastal wetland with fresh water (supplied by upwelling water) in which different animal species (especially birds) and plants live. This wetland is part of the Gandia marjal (marshland) and plays a key role in the hydrological cycle. This reserve of water helps regulate the local climate, temperatures and humidity.
