Itinerary description
Beautiful loop track starting from La Copa towards Gilico's mine. The first track is unpaved with loose rocks so watch out for flat tires if riding unsuitable bikes. The iron mine is abandoned and shows as highlight a beautiful pond full of rain water. Swimming is not allowed. Then the road continues for some kilometers with fairly better quality but still unpaved. Once reached a crossroads and turning left at Baños Gilico the road will be paved until the end. When you reach the dam you can enjoy some of the hidden water spot gems of the area. The way back can become a bit hard, specially if the Levante (eastern winds) blows.
