Itinerary description
The first part of the Mariembourg-Dinant trail continues on a mainly flat asphalted Ravel (former railway), and is surrounded by trees hiding any views.
A more interesting part of the trail starts at the village of Doische, from where the trail starts its descent into the valley of Meuse. From Hermeton you continue on the river bank.
In Hastière you can get easily lost: at certain moment the pavement on the river bank ends abruptly in the bushes. This is a place where you have to cross the river.
From Waulsort to Dinant you have to cycle on the road N96 with a non-negligible traffic.
