Itinerary description
Very nice lap with the difficult climb to the Montseny´s "Mortirolo" (the road between Montseny´s village and Campins with slopes of 13-15%). If one has the time (1 extra hour) one can try the difficult 6 km climb to the Turo de l´Home (be trained for that!), the highest peak of Montseny (the view from the top pays back the effort!). A good alternative in the way back to Mataro in order to avoid the traffic crowded sea side road (N-II) is to turn right in Arenys de Munt towards Sant Vicent de Montalt (the so-called Carretera de Mata due to the old castle nearby Mataro). It is a quite road (20 km to reach Mataro from there) with three easy small climbs.
