Itinerary description
Leaving Pontevedra heading further in-land towards Padrón. When we arrived in Padrón the town was in "fiesta", so we decided to spend the night here to enjoy the lively atmosphere.

How safe did you feel riding this route? Was there a lot of car traffic? How wide were the shoulders of the road?
We did this route 6 years ago now so I couldn't say if it has changed or not, however the vast majority of it was not on the road - it mostly runs along separate paths or very quiet roads. There are a few sections which do follow major roads for a short time, but you are generally quite far back (2 metres) from the road itself. If you use the satellite view map to look at the trail it should give you an idea of the road layout and general route overview. Enjoy!
Thanks! I will look more closely at the satellite view but it sounds pretty tranquil. I appreciate the info. I'm new to the area and coming from Colorado, am a little apprehensive about riding the narrow, shoulder-less roads with numerous roundabouts. Cheers!
